The International Human Rights Network is a registered not-for-profit company in the Republic of Ireland and is the successor of the International Human Rights Trust (established in 1995). IHRN provides practical, expert, support to organisations applying Human Rights Based Approaches.
What we do
Since 2003 IHRN has provided a combination of HRBA quality-assured services, including
Multi-disciplinary teams are commissioned to support all stages of Programme Cycle
Management and sectoral reform processes. IHRN experts work in the over-lapping contexts of development, conflict, Humanitarian crisis and peace-building.
Commissioned capacity-building and other support by UN agencies, OSCE, EC, Council of Europe, bi-lateral donors, State institutions and civil society organisations.
Annual training programmes Justice and Security Sector Reform June 2023.
Bespoke training tailored to specific mandates, policies and priorities e.g. Swiss Development Co-operation; Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs; peacekeeping and EU rule of law missions.
Own-initiative research and advocacy independently and with others - at national, regional and international levels.
Pro bono support (mentoring, advice etc) for other not-for-profit organisations which share IHRNs core principles.
